What's new: The Team Women networking organization is forming a new chapter in Corona. It held its first meeting on May 31 and will meet every two weeks on Tuesday.

Who can join: Women business owners who work in Corona. Membership is limited to one woman in any particular type of business or company.
What it offers: Women networking with other women to increase their sales, form lasting relationships, share business tips, give advice to women starting businesses, discuss current business issues and have fun. The organization, which has chapters across the nation and overseas, was created by Karyn Fagan, of Murrieta, and is designed to reach out to women in consulting, sales and professions who work from their homes and do not have a visible storefront.

When it meets: Every other Tuesday evening at a member's home. Potluck dinner.
Who's organizing it: Mary Sharp, 47, is the organizer and first president. Sharp lives in Fontana but works in Corona, where she is a senior marketing consultant at Circle K's western regional office. In the evenings and on weekends she sells Arbonne skin care products at home parties, boutiques and fairs.
Why Corona: As Sharp was looking for contacts through the Corona Chamber of Commerce, she found 110 women-owned businesses in the chamber.
